Important to Know

 

  • Please Note: WE ARE NOT Pleasant Harbor Marina or Scorpion Bay Marina.​

  • Enter the lake Through the North Entrance Gate. Please GPS "Desert Lotus Paddle Boards" to find us.

  • Please arrive 15-20 minutes early

  • There is a $7 parking fee at the Maricopa County Gates. (Fee gets you in park all day and is best to carpool).

  • When you arrive at the gate, if unsure, ask the attendant if you are at the North Entrance Gate, if not they will give you directions.

  • The Meeting spot will be located at Fireman's Cove (follow our signs, it will lead you right up to the water with our trailer). 

  • Be sure to bring water and any items necessary for your trip. Bonus if you have water shoes, but flip flops are okay. 

  • We DO have a place where you can lock up your personal items.

  • We DO have portable and running water restrooms.

At Desert Lotus, where passion flows with the water, we have been in the business for 8 enriching years. Our seasoned teachers, each with over 15 years of experience, form the backbone of a training that goes beyond the ordinary. We invite you to become a Paddleboard Yoga teacher, unlocking the potential of your practice on the water. Our training is designed to provide you with the tools, knowledge, safety, and skills necessary to guide your students through a transformative journey — a journey that unfolds on the gentle ripples of the open water.

Requirements

  • A minimum 200hr RYT certification

  • CPR certified

  • Must know how to swim

What to Bring?

 

  • Zafu Pillow and/or folding chair

  • Yoga mat

  • Beach towel/blanket

  • Water

  • Writing utensils

  • Paper/journal

  • Sun protection

  • Snacks

  • Lunch 

  • Shoes you don't mind getting wet (water shoes helpful, but sandals okay).

  • Comfortable wear (swimsuit, yoga gear, sup gear, shorts, tank tops).

We will have breakfast, snacks and extra water for each day.
