Frequently Asked QuestionsFAQ

1. What should I wear to Paddleboard Yoga?
We recommend wearing comfortable, moisture-wicking clothes that won’t restrict your movement or bring a swimsuit, and don’t forget sunscreen!

2. Do I need to have experience with yoga or paddleboarding?
No experience is required! Our classes are designed for all levels, including beginners. Whether you’re new to yoga, boardfit, or paddleboarding, we’ll guide you through every step.

3. How do I book a class or event?
You can book your event online via our website under Events Schedule or if you'd like to reserve a private reservation contact us directly through email or phone. We recommend reserving early, as our classes and events tend to fill up fast through-out the season!

4. What happens if the weather is bad?
While we love to be outdoors, we want to ensure your safety and comfort. In the case of adverse weather, we’ll either reschedule or cancel the event with a full refund. You’ll receive updates via email or text.

5. What should I bring to my class or event?
We provide the paddleboards and all necessary equipment, but we suggest bringing a towel, water bottle, sunscreen, and any personal items you might need for comfort.

6. Is there an age limit for your classes or events?
We recommend our classes and events for participants 18 and older. If you’re interested in bringing a younger participant, please contact us directly to discuss options as we do provide paddleboard yoga at Lake Pleasant for ages 14 and up (private bookings only).

7. What if I can’t swim?

You must be able to swim to safely participate in any of our paddleboard events, whether at the lake or pool. At the lake, if you fall off your paddleboard, you will need to be confident swimming back to it in order to get back on. For pool events, you’ll need to swim to your board, so basic swimming skills are required for your safety. If you're unsure about your swimming abilities, please contact us for further clarification.

8. Can I host a private event or group session?
Yes! We offer private classes, corporate events, and group bookings. Contact us for more information on pricing and availability.

9. Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! Gift certificates are available for any of our services. They make the perfect gift for anyone who loves wellness and adventure. Contact us for details.

10. How early should I arrive for my class or event?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time to check in, sign any necessary forms, and get settled.

  • Please arrive on time at check-in (or you could end up being stuck in long lines at the gate).

  • There is a $7 parking fee at the Maricopa County Gates. (Fee gets you in park all day and is best to carpool).

  • When you arrive at the gate, if unsure, ask the attendant if you are at the North Entrance Gate, if not they will give you directions.

  • The Meeting spot will be located at Fireman's Cove (follow our signs, it will lead you right up to the water with our trailer).

  • Be sure to bring water and any items necessary for your trip. Bonus if you have water shoes, but flip flops are okay. We will be walking in the water to boards.

  • We DO have a place where you can lock up your personal items.

  • We DO have portable and running water restrooms.

For Pool Events

  • Event Location: All pool events are held at private facilities or resorts by appointment only. Exact details will be provided once your booking is confirmed.

  • Arrival Time: Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and setup to ensure a smooth start to your event.

  • Parking: Parking is available on-site at most locations. Please follow any specific instructions provided by the host or resort upon booking.

  • What to Bring: Water, sunscreen, and a towel.

Hydration & Wellness:

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before and during the event to stay hydrated and energized.

  • Fasting: For the Float Nidra Sound Healing, we recommend avoiding eating for at least 2 hours before the event.

  • Avoid Alcohol: For safety and optimal experience, please refrain from alcohol consumption prior to all events. Alcohol impairs balance, focus, and coordination, and may affect your ability to fully enjoy and engage in your session. We want you to be alert, safe, and able to get the most out of your event.

  • Rest: On the day of your event, avoid strenuous activities to allow your body to be fully ready for a relaxing and fulfilling experience.

Attire:

  • For Paddleboard Yoga & BoardFit: Comfortable clothing you don't mind getting wet in, or a swimsuit is ideal for movement on the water. A towel or change of clothes is recommended.

  • For Float Nidra Sound Healing: Comfortable attire (no swimwear needed). Bring layers for warmth if necessary, as the event can be a deeply relaxing experience.

Event Duration:
Most pool events, including Paddleboard Yoga and BoardFit, last 60–90 minutes, depending on the type of session (private or group).

Post-Event Experience: After your Float Nidra Sound Healing, you’ll likely feel incredibly relaxed and at peace. Embrace the tranquility and take some quiet time to carry that sense of calm with you. It’s the perfect way to end your experience!

Directions:
Detailed directions will be sent upon booking. For resort or community pool events, you’ll receive the check-in process and location info in your confirmation email.

We are committed to making your event an enjoyable and memorable experience. If you have any questions or need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out!
